Was also having hard time starting. This pump fixed all that and the truck runs like new again. I actually got the wrong pump, this pump has emissions plug on it my old one didn't. But the pump still works because the plug is only needed to read emissions if you have it. I actually needed FG0271. No more "Low Fuel" warning light flashing every few seconds.I read one of the sheets that came with the pump. It stated very clearly that this pump is an Upgrade over the stock pump. There was a large list of improved items. There is a better fuel level sensor in there so my problem should not come back. Also, the different connector is one of the improvements that I suppose some trucks were having problems with. The swap for the actual pump was simple and very easy(5 minutes).
